Background

Our client, a leader in the catering equipment supplies industry experienced an 80% decline in sales following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. They approached Sarabi-Tech to explore potential solutions for revitalizing their sales initiatives.

Challenge

Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic was in many cases good for food delivery business, selling catering equipment was difficult without the in-store experience. Customers weren’t receiving the tacit benefit of seeing machines, or the additional info from staff. One point needed a way to reconnect with customers in a virtual world to pick up sales.

Solution

Sarabi Tech’s Creative Hub implemented an auto-scaling AR instance that even showed a virtual demo of the equipment in operation. Beyond offering a way for customers to view the machines in situ, we also designed and built One-point Live’ – an application add-on which enables live at-home demos with customers.
